How do I log in to the eRDS application?

You must have an eRDS account in order to submit deliverable through eRDS. Existing NIH External Active Directory and eRA Commons accounts can no longer be used to log into eRDS.

If you do not have an eRDS account, you can create an eRDS account on the One Time Pin (OTP) Authentication site. Click here for more detailed instructions on registration.

What types of documents can I submit?

You can submit PDF, Microsoft Word, or Microsoft Excel documents.

I can't find my "Submission History". Where can I view my previously submitted deliverables?

To view your submission history for your current eRDS account, click on “My Submission History” for all your deliverable submissions.

You can no longer view deliverables submitted previously using NIHEXT or eRA Commons accounts. However, eRDS does retain records of your previous submission history. Please contact your Contract Specialist if you have questions about your submission history.

Can I re-submit a previously submitted deliverable?

Yes. You can re-submit then upload a newer version of the deliverable document.

Can I delete an uploaded deliverable?

No. You cannot delete a deliverable once it is uploaded. You can, however, re-submit your deliverable and upload a newer version.

How do I know if my deliverable has been accepted?

After you upload a deliverable the status for the deliverable is first set to "Submitted". Once the deliverable is reviewed, the status will change to either "Accepted" or "Rejected".

Can I re-submit a deliverable after it has been rejected?

Yes. You can re-submit and upload a new version of the deliverable.
